Get Referrals This Tax Season With This One Easy Task
You have to do this at the beginning of every tax season. No questions asked. Non-negotiable.
Send the HUD-1 document to every client who closed on a property in the past year. Everyone thinks this is such a good idea but seriously, it’s rare for Realtors to actually deliver on this item. And it’s such a great way to get in front of the people who love you and remind them that you are a kickass Realtor.
Since tax season is just around the corner this easy task will help you:
- Get in touch with your clients
- Remind them of how awesome you are
- Ask for real estate referrals!
You can either attach the HUD-1 in an email or better yet, you can drop it off in person.

As you know, my services don’t stop just because closing is over. Tax season is around the corner and one of the documents you’ll need to complete your taxes is a copy of the Closing Statement on your property. I know moving can be a busy time and you may have misplaced (or even shredded!) this very important document.
