Be Honest, Are You Just an Average Agent?

According to NAR, the median gross income of Realtors is just $45,800! Whaaaa!!!!??? That fact should make your jaw drop because when you factor in expenses and taxes, you end up in the red! That’s not sustainable! If Realtors continue to do average (read: shitty) business, they won’t last. They will get fed up and burn out.

Do the Math

If you think this doesn’t apply to you, do some quick calculations and prove it.

Real estate is SUCH a phenomenal business. You get to be your own boss, you get to pick and choose your clients, and there’s no ceiling on your income! Just think, you could be sitting in a cubicle right now. You could be at a job that you hate! It’s time to be grateful and take advantage of all of the opportunities that the real estate industry provides.

You’re a Snowflake

If you’re average, the first step is admitting that you’re average. Look at yourself in the mirror and say “I’m an average agent.” It stings a little, doesn’t it? No one wants to be average. We want to believe that we are a special snowflake. And you can be. But you aren’t.

Don’t worry, I’m here to make sure you’re an extraordinary Realtor, a unique butterfly in a world full of moths. It’s never too late to ditch “average” and become outstanding!

Tell me in the comments what you’re grateful for in this business.
