The Best System for Communicating With Your Clients

There’s no such thing as over-communicating with your clients!

I talk to buyers and sellers all the time and I always want to know how their Realtor was. Clients most often say, “We felt out of the loop” or “We felt like we were doing all the work.” Clearly, Realtors are not communicating with their clients.

It’s clear that the biggest pain point for clients is feeling like they are in the dark throughout the transaction.

I have a solution (and it’s SUPER simple to implement).

Regardless of whether or not you have any updates for your clients…
YOU HAVE TO REGULARLY COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR CLIENT THROUGHOUT THE TRANSACTION. 


Two things to implement into your schedule:

  • Each Monday prep and gather information (calling lenders, prepping documents, etc.) for each transaction.
  • Call, text or email your clients on Tuesday and go over the following items:
    • What’s happened since you last spoke
    • What’s happening this week
    • Good news/bad news

Your clients want to hear from you, even if there is “no news.” (BTW there is always news when you’re in the middle of a transaction.) No one is going to be mad at you that you are over-communicating with them.

This is a really simple process to put into place and your clients will ❤️ you for it.
